    Velvet is a kind of fabrics that feels very soft and comfortable. There are two kinds of velvet, namely cotton and polyester. It can be used in garment industry.  Water jet loom is the most suitable loom for the weaving of polyester velvet. High in speed and efficiency and easy in operation and maintenance, water jet loom helps in reducing the production cost and enhance the competitiveness of velvet in the market.

    The process of velvet weaving is mainly double layer weaving pile cutting. So it call for double beam and dual let-off mechanism. There are two types of pile yarn tight way, V tight and W tight. W tight is recommended in terms of pile strength, as the following picture shows:
